Fork Union alumnus Christian Hackenberg is now preparing for the NFL Draft.

The annual NFL Combine, televised on the NFL Network, does not draw very high television ratings, but for fans of Fork Union Military Academy athletics it is "must-see TV." True to form, this year's event features several Fork Union alumni seeking to make a big impression with the NFL scouts and land a spot on their draft boards. Two quarterbacks top the list of big name Fork Union athletes, with Ohio State's Cardale Jones and Penn State's Christian Hackenberg both hoping to secure spots in the first round of the draft.

Look for Hackenberg to be featured in a profile on the NFL Network tonight, Friday February 26th, at about 8:00 PM.

Wide receiver Mike Thomas, Jones' roommate at Fork Union and passing target as his teammate at Ohio State, is looking to impress this week. The nephew of longtime NFL receiver Keyshawn Johnson, measured up at 6'3", 212 lbs, with hands that measure 10-1/2 inches. No wonder, with hands that large, that Thomas has one of the best catch to drop ratios in the game this past season.
