As Briante Weber said after leading the Memphis Grizzlies to victory in his NBA debut, "Dreams do come true." The Fork Union Military Academy alumnus, who played his college basketball for the VCU Rams, received the call to fly to Memphis while he was preparing to depart for a development league game. Upon arriving in Memphis, he was told he would be starting the next game at point guard. Weber didn't just start, he sparked his team to an outstanding victory.
