The Fork Union Military Academy Orienteering brought back honors from the National Championship meet held April 1–3, 2016 in Hamilton, Ohio. Both the varsity and the intermediate (grades 7-9) teams obtained 3rd place medals in the two-day competition.

Spearheading the varsity team was Julian Yescas (10th grade) and Jared Giszack (9th grade). Seniors Zimu Li and Jack Weisel added their excellent efforts. The intermediate team was led by Blake Chiovaro (8th), who finished fourth both days, and David Muench (9th grade). Zach Williams (9th) and Brennan Stone (8th) also contributed good times.

In addition to the two day Interscholastic Competition, the Cincinnati Club also hosted a sprint competition on Friday on the Miami University (Hamilton) campus. Giszack and Muench both earned bronze medals in that event.
