COL Todd Giszack, the Academic Dean of Fork Union Military Academy, surveys the ongoing renovation work of the science classrooms.
Work is underway in Wicker Science Hall, where classrooms 1 and 2 are being transformed into 21st-century lab space. The floor plans are completely new, and the design calls for improved bench space, new casework, modern finishes, and upgraded furnishings and safety equipment. We have added windows and doors in each class space, and a display module for each classroom. Through creative design, we will also be able to create a modern and effective teaching space earmarked for our STEM Education Program and Early College Scholars classes. Work is scheduled for completion by late August.
