College Day to be held Thursday, September 24th in the Estes Athletic Center

Fork Union Military Academy's annual College Day event will be held this Thursday, September 24th, in the Estes Athletic Center from 1300–1400 (1:00 PM to 2:00 PM). This event, organized by Ms. Rhonda White in the Guidance Office, provides an opportunity for juniors, seniors, and postgraduate students to talk to representatives from over fifty collleges and universities. Students will be able to collect information from these schools to help in their college selection process.

This year, students are using a preregistration process through GoToCollegeFairs.com to make it easier than ever to request information from the colleges they are interested in, and provide their own contact information and data about their own special interests, extracurricular activities, and accomplishments, without the time consuming process of filling out an individual form at each school's booth. Instead, students will be able to print their own personal barcode which can be scanned by the college representatives to securely capture the student's registration information. This will allow our students to spend more quality time interacting with admission representatives and learning about their schools, and less time filling out forms.
