This Week in Admissions
This week the Fork Union Military Academy Admissions staff will be offering tours and interview opportunities Monday – Friday. Please be aware that there are limited appointment slots available Friday, and none remaining for Saturday. You may call 434-842-4358 to arrange a day and time for your visit.
Please note that there will also be limited staff availability between Monday, March 12th and Friday, March 16th due to our Spring Leave. We will return to our regular Monday-Saturday schedule the week of March 19.
For our current families travelling to campus on Friday March 9 to pick up their cadets, there will be a meeting in Wicker Chapel at 11:00 AM with a representative of Virginia 529 on how the new tax laws give families the opportunity to use 529 plans to help finance private K – 12 education.
Our department will also be hosting several off-campus admissions events this week;

Easter Classroom Showcase
The Fork Union Military Academy Admissions team will be offering 6 days of shadow visitation in the weeks around the Easter holiday.
Join us for the day on either March 27, 28, 29, or April 3, 4, 5 for the opportunity to tour our campus, spend time in a class, have lunch with our corp of cadets, complete the required admissions interview, as well as meet coaches and activity directors.
Registration is required, so please call 434-842-4358 to arrange a day for your visit.
THESE VISITATIONS ARE NOT INTENDED FOR PROSPECTIVE POST-GRADUATE ATHLETES. PLEASE CONTACT THE HEAD COACH OF YOUR SPORT TO ARRANGE YOUR CAMPUS VISIT.

Re-Enrollment for 2018-19
Recently re-enrollment offers and agreements for the 2018-2019 school year were e-mailed to all of our current cadet families. If yours was not received, please contact Mrs. Shaver in the Admissions Office at 434-842-4358 to arrange for a second copy to be sent.
Please have your signed agreement and tuition deposit returned to our offices by Monday April 9, 2018.
As a reminder, an application is required with FACTS for each year tuition assistance will be requested. Applications may be submitted through our website, www.forkunion.com.
Also, an updated health form is required at the beginning of each school year. This form may be downloaded from the bottom of the Admissions page of www.forkunion.com.

COL David Coggins Named the 11th President of Fork Union Military Academy
Fork Union Military Academy has selected Colonel David L. Coggins, USMC, to serve as its 11th President. COL Coggins will succeed Rear Admiral J. Scott Burhoe, USCG (Ret.), who is retiring on July 1, 2018 after seven years as President.
